Kelly, Artist
Kelly Ventura is a Michigan-based watercolor artist and designer celebrated for her expressive, nature-inspired work. Her journey began in New York and Connecticut, designing for boutique wallpaper and rug companies, where she discovered her passion for surface design and the transformative process of bringing artwork to life on everyday objects.
After years of experience designing for a home and gift wholesaler, Kelly launched her namesake brand—an evolving collection of designs that infuse beauty and creativity into home, organization, and lifestyle products. She begins each design with a hand-painted watercolor, translating her brushstrokes into thoughtfully crafted pieces that bring artistry and inspiration to everyday living.
Her work appears across a wide range of products, including wallpaper, stationery, textiles, dinnerware, children’s clothing, planners, and more. Kelly’s creative process is rooted in intuition and observation, guided by a deep appreciation for color, form, and the unexpected beauty found in the natural world.
When she's not in the studio, Kelly enjoys summer weekends in northern Michigan, spending time with her husband and three boys, cheering from the sidelines as a proud soccer mom, and hunting for vintage furniture.
Jen, Head of Operations
Jen Walker is the operational powerhouse behind Kelly Ventura. As Kelly’s sister and head of operations, she ensures the seamless execution of daily business functions, managing everything from product launches to collaborations, and keeping the books up to date. With a degree in supply chain management from Michigan State University, Jen is the perfect blend of strategic thinker and hands-on doer, overseeing the wallpaper and fabric side of the business with precision and care.
In her free time, Jen enjoys traveling and cheering on her three kids at their sporting events alongside her husband. When she's not on the go, you'll likely find her elbows-deep in a home project. Whether it's adding wallpaper, swapping out furniture, or building raised garden beds, there's always something new in the works at her charming 1930s bungalow.
Emma, Customer & Vendor Relationship Specialist
A proud Michigan native from the charming town of Chelsea, Emma brings a thoughtful, hands-on approach to her work at Kelly Ventura Designs. After earning her degree in Media Studies and Journalism from Eastern Michigan University, Emma discovered her passion for design and seamlessly transitioned into the world of interiors.
As a key member of the Kelly Ventura Designs team, Emma manages order processing, sampling, and both general and designer inquiries with care and precision. She also plays an integral role in coordinating with showrooms and vendors, ensuring every detail aligns with the high standards of the brand. Known for her diligence and attention to detail, Emma has recently developed a keen interest in wallpaper installation, often lending her skills to friends and family home projects.
A creative at heart, Emma is an avid sewer and quilter, always looking for her next project. Outside of work, she and her wife, Bianca, spend their summers camping across Michigan with their two dogs.
Kim, Territory Sales Manager
Born in Houston, educated in Dallas, and now happily rooted in Austin, Kim is a true Texas native with a lifelong passion for interiors. She brings warmth, industry know-how, and a designer-first mindset to her role in sales at Kelly Ventura. With years of experience in textiles, furniture, and design operations, Kim loves being a resource for creative teams who need beautiful, thoughtful solutions.
A longtime fan of the Kelly Ventura line, Kim is excited to introduce the collection to designers across Texas, Florida, and Northern California. When she's not on the road or in the studio, you’ll likely find her with her two kids, rearranging a room, or tracking down her next great design discovery.
